About The Position

Intapp is looking for a Director of Field Effectiveness to lead the team responsible for building and scaling go-to-market capability across sales, customer success, services, and partners. This is a player-coach role: you will lead a team of Field Effectiveness Managers while staying close to the field and the work itself. Field Effectiveness is one of three pillars within the broader GTM Effectiveness organization, alongside Strategy & Operations and Learning & Skills, and you will own the field-facing side of that mission. You will serve as the primary point of contact for enablement needs across sales, customer success, services, and partner segments, activating programs built in partnership with the broader effectiveness team and driving adoption on the ground. The role requires 7+ years of go-to-market experience with a foundation in sales or customer success, 3+ years of enablement leadership with direct management experience, and a genuine point of view on how AI tools are changing the way go-to-market teams work.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in go-to-market-facing roles, with a foundation in sales or customer success, and 3+ years in enablement leadership with direct people management experience
  • A demonstrated track record of building go-to-market methodology, not just delivering training, across multiple GTM segments such as sales, customer success, services, or partners
  • An AI-native mindset, with a real point of view on how AI tools change the way go-to-market teams work and experience putting that point of view into practice
  • Strong program architecture skills: the ability to design a framework, build the content, operationalize the rollout, and measure the impact
  • Clear, executive-level communication skills and the ability to influence without authority across complex, matrixed organizations
  • A data-literate approach, using performance metrics to make prioritization decisions rather than simply reporting activity

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and develop a team of Field Effectiveness Managers covering sales, customer success, professional services, and partner channels, setting priorities, operating cadence, and the quality bar for field-facing programs
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for enablement needs across field leadership teams, translating go-to-market strategy into field execution and taking ownership of activating programs with your team
  • Lead from the front on AI fluency, serving as Intapp's internal Celeste champion within the GTM org and driving adoption of AI-assisted selling, coaching, and productivity practices at the field level
  • Own field communications, training programming, and content for each GTM segment, and represent field-level needs in learning program design in partnership with the Learning & Skills team
  • Partner with sales, customer success, and professional services leadership to align on capability gaps, prioritize accordingly, and represent the GTM enablement function in executive conversations
