Director - Epic Cogito BI and Analytics
About The Position
The Director – Epic Cogito Business Intelligence & Analytics is responsible for the strategic leadership, delivery, and governance of enterprise reporting and analytics solutions built on Epic’s Cogito platform. This role ensures that the organization has timely, accurate, and actionable insights to support clinical, operational, financial, quality, and strategic decision-making. This position leads analytics teams and priorities, establishes enterprise reporting standards, and ensures data integrity and consistency across the organization. The Epic Director – Cogito partners closely with clinical, operational, finance, quality, population health, and executive leaders to translate data needs into meaningful dashboards, reports, and analytical tools. The role is also accountable for analytics readiness and continuity before, during, and after Epic implementations and upgrades.
Requirements
- Strategic leadership experience in business intelligence and analytics.
- Experience with Epic’s Cogito platform.
- Ability to lead analytics teams and set priorities.
- Knowledge of enterprise reporting standards.
- Skills in ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Experience partnering with clinical, operational, finance, quality, population health, and executive leaders.
- Experience translating data needs into dashboards, reports, and analytical tools.
- Understanding of analytics readiness and continuity during Epic implementations and upgrades.
