About The Position

The Director, EPMO position drives organizational excellence by aligning strategic planning, budgeting, and enterprise decision-making to achieve LACOE’s mission and long-term goals. This executive role leads the prioritization and successful delivery of high-impact initiatives through standardized project management practices, ensuring optimal use of resources and measurable results across the organization. Serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, the Director, EPMO leverages expertise in risk management, change leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to foster innovation, strengthen partnerships, and advance sustainable organizational growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business administration, accounting, finance, or other fields closely related to the job requirements.
  • Five years of experience in managing complex, enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Two years of experience in a senior management role.
  • A valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to obtain transportation between job sites.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Master’s degree in information technology, business administration, accounting, finance, or other fields closely related to the job requirements may substitute for one year of the required experience and one year of senior management experience.
