About The Position

The Director, Enterprise Intelligence and Decision Support provides strategic leadership for Connecticut Children's enterprise intelligence, decision support, business intelligence, and data engineering functions, delivering trusted enterprise data and analytics capabilities that enable clinical, operational, financial, and executive leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions. The Director establishes an enterprise-facing business intelligence and decision support program that delivers actionable intelligence, supports organizational performance improvement, and helps leaders effectively interpret and apply data in strategic, operational, financial, and clinical decision-making. The Director sets the enterprise vision, strategy, governance, and operating model for the enterprise intelligence and decision support function. The Director serves as a strategic partner to the Enterprise Performance Office, executive leadership, Information Solutions (IT), and clinical, operational, financial, and quality leaders to align enterprise intelligence and decision support capabilities with organizational priorities. Through these partnerships, the Director advances performance improvement, supports organizational transformation, and enables Connecticut Children's vision of becoming a data-informed organization where trusted information improves patient care, operational excellence, financial stewardship, and organizational performance. The Director is accountable for the strategic, operational, financial, technical, and human resource management of the Enterprise Intelligence and Decision Support organization. Requirements

  • Strategic leadership experience in enterprise intelligence, decision support, business intelligence, and data engineering.
  • Experience delivering trusted enterprise data and analytics capabilities.
  • Experience establishing and managing an enterprise-facing business intelligence and decision support program.
  • Experience in strategic planning, governance, and operating model development for data and analytics functions.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership, IT, and clinical/operational/financial/quality leaders.
  • Experience in strategic, operational, financial, technical, and human resource management.
