About The Position

CHEST aspires to evolve its impact and long-term sustainability by identifying, validating, and developing new enterprise opportunities that address emerging needs across the healthcare ecosystem. This role focuses on structured exploration of future growth opportunities, enterprise innovation, institutional market sensing, and development of scalable new business concepts aligned with CHEST’s mission and strengths. Primary Purpose: The Director, Enterprise Innovation & Venture Strategy leads the exploration, validation, and development of future enterprise growth opportunities for CHEST. This role serves as the connective strategist between external market dynamics and CHEST’s internal strategic evolution. The Director identifies emerging trends, unmet institutional needs, and areas where CHEST may have a differentiated “right to win,” then collaborates cross-functionally to develop validation pathways, pilot concepts, and scalable business models. Working across Strategy, Product Strategy, Program Strategy, Marketing, Finance, and executive leadership, the Director helps shape enterprise innovation priorities and builds structured frameworks for evaluating future organizational growth opportunities. Bring strong knowledge of healthcare market dynamics, healthcare economics, innovation strategy, and business model development to all initiatives.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and build structure in evolving environments.
  • Ability to travel as needed to represent CHEST in enterprise and institutional engagements.
