We are seeking a highly strategic, business-facing data leader with deep expertise in a Microsoft environment. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in professional services analytics and a demonstrated ability to translate firm strategy into measurable business outcomes through data-driven insights. This individual will partner closely with stakeholders to align analytics initiatives with organizational priorities, driving performance, operational efficiency, and informed decision-making across the firm. Data and analytics are foundational to EisnerAmper’s growth, profitability, and client service strategy. This role directly shapes how the firm leverages enterprise data to improve financial performance, operational efficiency, and executive decision-making. The Director will modernize core analytics platforms, standardize firm-wide KPIs, and enable trusted, real-time insights for leadership—positioning data as a true strategic asset across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 18+ years of experience in enterprise data, analytics, or BI leadership roles with Microsoft Azure experience
  • 3+ years of proven leadership in a financial and professional services analytics

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Factory/Synapse, and ADLS.
  • Strong background in Lakehouse architecture, dimensional modeling, and enterprise security.
  • Executive communication skills with experience influencing senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the enterprise data and analytics strategy, including vision, roadmap, and operating model, in close partnership with executive leadership, Finance, and Operations.
  • Lead the modernization of legacy data platforms to a cloud native Lakehouse architecture, establishing enterprise standards for data architecture, governance, security, and DevOps.
  • Lead architecture and integration across Microsoft Fabric, Azure, ensuring performant, reliable, and cost optimized enterprise data services.
  • Own and standardize firmwide financial and professional services KPIs, delivering executive dashboards, self-service analytics, and advanced reporting that enable data driven decision making.
  • Lead enterprise data governance and compliance, establishing standards for data quality, security, lineage, and access controls while ensuring adherence to SOX, GDPR, and audit requirements.
  • Deliver a unified enterprise data platform end-to-end, consolidating structured and unstructured data into a trusted, scalable foundation that enables reliable analytics and firmwide decision making.
  • Own execution and delivery accountability for all data and analytics initiatives, ensuring programs are delivered on time, adopted by the business, and produce measurable, tangible business value.
  • Build and lead a high performing delivery organization, setting clear success metrics, driving disciplined execution, and providing transparent executive reporting on progress, risks, and realized outcomes.
