The world relies on HPS to continually conceive and produce state-of-the-art transformer technology. We currently have an opening for a Director, Enterprise Business Applications, come grow with us! Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Director, Enterprise Business Applications is accountable for the strategy, performance, and evolution of the organization’s enterprise business application portfolio. This role ensures that core platforms supporting manufacturing, supply chain, finance, commercial, P&C, and corporate functions are reliable, scalable, secure, and aligned with business priorities in a multinational manufacturing environment, while driving responsible adoption of AI-enabled capabilities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise applications leadership
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master’s an asset)
  • Proven experience in complex, manufacturing-focused environments
  • Strong expertise across ERP-centric ecosystems supporting supply chain, finance, HR, and operations
  • Solid understanding of application architecture, integration, and governance practices
  • Experience with AI-enabled business applications and associated data/security considerations
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy into technology roadmaps and outcomes
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications (PMP, Agile, ERP, Azure/AWS) considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a multi-year enterprise applications strategy aligned with business objectives and operating priorities
  • Partner with business and functional leaders to translate needs into technology roadmaps and investment plans.
  • Oversee the performance, stability, and lifecycle management of enterprise applications, including incident, change, and release processes.
  • Lead modernization initiatives across ERP, CRM, HRIS, finance, and manufacturing systems to improve scalability and reduce technical debt.
  • Drive adoption of AI-enabled capabilities (e.g., vendor AI, Microsoft Copilot, custom solutions) to enhance productivity, decision-making, and automation.
  • Enable system integration, process standardization, and data-driven operations; support M&A through application strategy and integration planning
  • Manage budgets, vendors, and implementation partners, ensuring effective delivery and measurable business value
  • Establish governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity, data, and regulatory requirements, and managing application and AI-related risk
  • Lead and develop global application teams, fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and outcome-focused culture.
