About The Position

This role is a key technical role that blends automation domain-specific expertise with principals of enterprise architecture to provide oversight and guidance in developing the automation solutions to deliver business objectives. This role will be responsible for ensuring that the developed automation within and across the Intelligent Automation COE adhere to sustainable, supportable, and reusable development standards and provides oversight and coordination across the portfolio of technical solutions being developed in that domain. They will develop, maintain, and communicate processes and standard practices related to the high-level design, development, and implementation of automation across the portfolio of projects. Additionally, they will work with the business and the IA COE leadership to define technology roadmaps & ensure solutions meet business needs along with architecturally significant functional and non-functional requirements. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the direction and promoting continuous technology evolution of the Intelligent Automation technology stack, including strategic technology decisions, architectural upgrades and integrations into and across the rest of the ELC IT technology eco-system. In this capacity, the Intelligent Automation Architect will engage with System and Platform Owners globally and locally to set direction and oversee, accelerate and inspire the incorporation and co-existence of automation capabilities within the enterprise.

Requirements

  • Experience and certifications for leading automation software platforms (e.g., Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UiPath)

  • Coding languages such as Java and VBA preferred
  • Certified Automation Anywhere accreditation (or other equivalent RPA industry-leading platform accreditation)
  • RPA framework experience and/or experience with building and retiring RPA
  • Scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Powershell, Bash, VBS, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SQLite, MySQL or similar database management system
  • Experience in web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)
  • Understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax and PHP
  • Basic Knowledge of Cloud-Based platforms such as AWS, Google
  • Understanding of machine learning/AI and practical experience in building some models or leveraging Cloud-based APIs
  • Knowledge of chatbots, OCR technologies that can be leveraged

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight and guidance in developing automation solutions to deliver business objectives.
