About The Position

The Director, Enterprise Applications, is responsible for leading the strategy, roadmap, delivery, and ongoing operation of the organization’s enterprise application portfolio. This position leads a team of managers, analysts, and technical specialists, and will partner with senior business and IT leaders to deliver scalable, secure, and effective application solutions that advance enterprise objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required
  • Twelve (12) years of progressive IT experience required
  • Six (6) years of experience leading enterprise applications required
  • Four (4) years of supervisory experience required, including experience managing other supervisors
  • Experience working in a multi-unit or multi-site environment required
  • Advanced knowledge of enterprise applications, databases, and integration technologies
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and the broader enterprise application landscape
  • Advanced knowledge of application governance, lifecycle management, and software delivery practices
  • Advanced knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements applicable to business applications, including HIPAA and PCI
  • Advanced knowledge Microsoft applications including Excel and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Drive, operationalize, and advance the strategy and multi-year roadmap for the enterprise application portfolio in alignment with business and technology objectives
  • Establish governance, standards, and operating procedures for application administration, integration, change management, and lifecycle management
  • Partner with executive and senior business leaders to translate organizational priorities into application capabilities and process improvements
  • Oversee delivery of major projects, system implementations, upgrades, and integrations, ensuring scope, quality, schedule, and budget commitments are met
  • Manage relationships with strategic application vendors, including contract negotiation, performance oversight, and issue escalation
  • Oversee the operational health and reliability of business applications, including service levels, incident resolution, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure application compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies, including HIPAA and PCI, in coordination with Security, Compliance, and Privacy functions
  • Manage the operating and capital budget for the enterprise applications function, including forecasting, prioritization, and vendor spend
  • Drive data accuracy, integrity, and security across business applications and supporting integrations
  • This role requires use of approved AI tools to perform assigned tasks more efficiently and effectively
