At Gilead our pursuit of a healthier world for all people has yielded a cure for hepatitis C, revolutionary improvements in HIV treatment and prevention as well as advancements in therapies for viral and inflammatory diseases and certain cancers. We set and achieve bold ambitions in our fight against the world’s most devastating diseases, united in our commitment to confronting the largest public health challenges of our day and improving the lives of patients for generations to come. As the Director, Enterprise AI Communications at Gilead, you will own Gilead's internal AI communications narrative, helping employees, leaders and key stakeholders understand what AI means for the company, how it connects across workstreams and how it supports our mission, employee experience and impact for patients. Reporting into the Corporate & Enterprise Communications team, this role will serve as the communications lead for Gilead's broader AI ecosystem, including Responsible AI, enterprise governance, AI literacy and adoption, priority use cases, executive visibility, employee engagement, cross-functional storytelling and the internal joint council that connects AI work across the enterprise. The Director will partner closely with Information Technology, Human Resources, Development, Legal, Compliance and other enterprise functions to translate complex concepts into clear, meaningful and people-centered communications that build trust, understanding and engagement. The role will also serve as a strategic communications advisor to senior technology leaders and support broader enterprise technology communications priorities. We are open to this position sitting at our Foster City or Parsippany campus. Foster City is strongly preferred.
