About The Position

JLL is currently seeking an experienced Managing Director to join our team and help lead our renewable energy and energy transition investment banking practice in the Americas. The Managing Director will originate transactions, lead deal teams advising on investment banking transactions within the renewable energy and energy transition space and be a senior leader of the firm. Responsibilities include wide-ranging deal lead execution and driving to close renewable energy project capital advisory and corporate M&A mandates in the Americas, including managing the diligence, positioning of investment thesis, material prep and financial modeling for junior team members. Further strategic responsibilities include active leadership in long-term strategy and growth initiatives and broad management responsibilities for the team. The Managing Director will have the opportunity to contribute to new business development efforts and have primary client coverage of a significant portion of the firm’s clients. Managing Director base salaries and end-of-year bonuses are competitive with elite boutique and bulge-bracket investment banks.

Requirements

Demonstrated management of teams and leadership within the renewable energy industry and environmental finance is crucial
C-Level relationships across developers, investors, corporates and other client targets
10+ years relevant work experience, with experience in renewable energy finance, renewable corporate leadership or investment banking
Strong and proven business development skills are required
Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Knowledge of financial modeling, accounting, excel, writing and PowerPoint capabilities are preferred
