Requirements

• 5+ years of territory sales experience, with a proven ability to build and scale channel partnerships.
• Experience managing multiple business-to-business accounts.
• Willingness to travel 50–60% of the time to meet contractors and grow your network.
• A hunter mindset with the drive to win new business and achieve results.
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• A team-first attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Nice To Haves

• A strong network in the home improvement industry (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own your territory – Understand the landscape, build strong relationships, and identify growth opportunities.
• Drive new partnerships with medium and large home improvement contractors.
• Expand existing partnerships through creative sales strategies and proactive relationship management.
• Communicate our value – Articulate Sunlight’s value proposition and share program enhancements with clarity and confidence.
• Be creative – Develop innovative ways to engage contractors and solve their pain points.
• Track and analyze metrics to accelerate partner performance and identify trends.
• Represent the voice of the customer across the organization.
• Gather market intelligence and insights as our “boots on the ground.”
• Travel regularly to meet partners and strengthen relationships in person.
