Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in business systems, data/reporting operations, or program management, ideally supporting a real estate, construction, or infrastructure development team
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational data concepts—enough to write basic queries and evaluate a Data Engineer’s work
  • Experience managing or closely partnering with a Data Engineer or similar technical resource
  • Hands-on experience selecting, implementing, or administering platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Smartsheet, SiteTracker, Databricks)
  • A genuine passion for data, metrics, and dashboards, with hands-on experience building reporting in tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Smartsheet Dashboards
  • Strong stakeholder and change management skills—able to drive tool adoption across a busy team without heavy-handed process

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, select, and finalize the core tooling stack for the Development organization, balancing team workflows, cost, and long-term scalability
  • Stand up data management practices and infrastructure for the Development org, including data governance, source-of-truth definitions, and integration between systems of record
  • Design and build dashboards, and identify the KPIs that matter, to give the Development organization and executive leadership a clear, timely view of pipeline health and project performance
  • Partner closely with a Data Engineer to translate reporting needs into data pipelines and models, using working SQL knowledge to review their work and sanity-check outputs
  • Drive adoption of new tools and workflows across the Development organization through training, documentation, and hands-on change management
  • Partner with internal teams (Sites, Energy & Water, EDX, Construction, Business Development, Finance) to understand reporting needs and ensure tooling decisions reflect how the business actually works
  • Continuously monitor tool and data quality, iterating on dashboards, KPIs, and workflows as the Development org’s priorities evolve
