The Risk Products & Data Strategy (RPDS) team at American Express is responsible for building software products, platforms & shared services required to manage credit and fraud risk strategies globally. The group handles customer journeys for Onboarding, Limit Management, Authorizations and Hardship/Collections for various products in portfolio such as Credit Cards, Loans and Digital Banking. The group operates in Scale Agile methodology (Safe) and partners closely with Risk strategy, Technology, Servicing and Marketing groups at American Express. RPDS is placed within Credit and Fraud Risk (CFR) organization at American Express, which is large group of 1,450 professionals, located in 20 offices around the world. Job Responsibilities: As the Director of Solution Management, this role will be responsible for creating global business architecture, blueprints & solution for E2E customer journeys in Credit Card, Loan and Banking products across customer lifecycle. This role is most critical in creating & maintaining a blueprint of solutions, connecting dots across various products & solutions in risk ecosystem, work with Product & Technology leads across CFR, Risk Technologies & Enterprise Architecture to adhere solutions to enterprise blueprint & policies and convert the “WHAT” from a product vision into a well-defined “HOW” through solution architecture. This role requires strong organizational, technical, creative problem-solving and stakeholder management skills and can influence across multiple levels of leadership. This is an exciting and critical role that will help drive the future state architecture for enabling best in class authorizations decisions at American Express. You’ll work among high performing design, product, and engineering teams. We are looking for someone who is deeply inquisitive, enjoys creative problem solving, detail oriented, has an enterprise mindset to drive greater reusability, and enable journeys with faster time to market.
