How we LEAD: The Digital Marketing Director role acts as the digital lead for a designated artist roster, leading all facets of digital marke.ng for each project including but not limited to the creation and execution of digital marketing plans, content-first social strategy, pre-release and release planning, audience development, fan engagement, digital advertising, and more. How you'll CREATE: Collaborate with internal departments at MCA to support priorities, major initiatives, and all requests to connect artists & consumers. Advise on social media strategy to drive growth and engagement for artists and associated artist accounts on respective rosters through ideation, digital marketing promotions, content strategy and collaborations across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube and others as needed. Work with Media Planner to implement strategic digital advertising plans for each release, generating innovative ideas and approaches that effectively target the desired audiences. Manage online advertising + digital budgets for respective rosters with Product Managers. Work with Creative and wider team to ensure all digital/social content feels cohesive, intentional, and on brand for the artists. Oversee content creation for socials, websites, and digital marketing campaigns, consistent with artist branding, keeping up to date with best practices and trends to leverage content and maximize exposure in the digital space. Maintain strong relationships with artist management, artists, influencers, and digital partners to be viewed as a resource for best practices and implementing digital marketing strategies for each new, developing, established, and catalog acts. Prioritize CRM strategy to grow audiences and connect artist with fans in a meaningful way. Work with the web team to manage artist and label websites/web properties with the latest technology and relevant content. Conduct post-campaign performance recaps to surface insights, learnings, and benchmarks that inform future campaigns. Encourage and monitor sound engagement in the short-form space and implement supporting campaigns where appropriate. Partner with D2C and Commerce teams to launch physical product drops, integrating marketing strategy with merch, vinyl, and collector releases. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media or related field; music or entertainment industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Deep understanding of fandom culture, social platforms, and digital-first product trends.
  • Experience with website development, email marketing, short form content and fan messaging is essential.
  • Excellent cross-functional communicator and collaborator with creative and commercial stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee campaign ideation and campaign execution.
