About The Position

Acrotech Biopharma Inc. is building out a new Dermatology Business Unit to launch ADQUEY™, a novel treatment for mild to moderate Atopic Dermatitis. This is an opportunity to join a growing organization and make a significant impact on patients. The Director, Dermatology TLL will support ADQUEY by identifying market needs and opportunities through insight generation to inform home office marketing strategy. The TLL team will also build advocacy for ADQUEY and Acrotech among Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), professional societies/advocacy groups, and other influential stakeholders. This role requires an exceptional leader with deep dermatology experience and existing relationships with dermatology KOLs, acting as a player/coach with strong expertise in the TLL role, its measurement, responsibilities, and team development. The Director, Dermatology TLL will report to the Marketing Lead, will have responsibility for a specific geography, and will lead other TLLs. All TLL interactions must be within label and compliant with commercial, legal, and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

  • Expertise in the role of the TLL with understanding of methods to measure performance and ensure accountability.
  • Understanding of the Compliance landscape shaping the role of the TLL.
  • Knowledge of how to fine-tune TLL responsibilities to compliantly meet the needs of the dermatology commercial teams.
  • Understanding of how various companies/therapeutic areas structure and define the TLL role.
  • Broad range of leadership competencies and ability to work in a cross-functional role.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Understand, maintain, and comply with all Acrotech Compliance Policies and Procedures as we adhere to FDA, OIG and Pharma Guidelines.
  • BA/BS degree in business, science, or other related discipline.
  • 10 years pharmaceutical experience.
  • 4 years of dermatology with demonstrated established relationships with dermatology KOLs.
  • 4 years in a previous people leadership role with demonstrated ability to develop direct reports.
  • Ability to travel overnight to cover a multi-state geography and attend home office, local/regional/national meetings and conventions as necessary.
  • Ability to travel up to 70%

Responsibilities

  • Support the launch of ADQUEY by partnering cross-functionally to ensure Commercial KOL engagements are coordinated strategically and operationally.
  • Hire, lead, manage, and develop a strong team of TLLs to achieve and exceed company goals.
  • Gather market insights, including KOL insights and perceptions of Acrotech Biopharma brands.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, treatment protocols, and other market dynamics, reporting findings to Marketing leadership.
  • Support the development of brand strategy based on insights gained through KOL engagement and congress attendance.
  • Provide support for commercial Advisory Boards.
  • Engage with KOLs and other Market Influencers to build advocacy for Acrotech and ADQUEY.
  • Identify, profile, cultivate, and maintain long-term relationships with national and regional KOLs.
  • Act as Acrotech/Brand ambassadors through compliant interactions.
  • Identify potential speakers.
  • Support commercial activities at congresses, including leading Executive Encounters during key congresses.
  • Identify, profile, cultivate, and maintain long-term relationships with leadership at key professional societies/advocacy groups.
  • Recommend and recruit KOLs for commercial initiatives such as sales training programs, Acrotech national meetings, and other projects requiring KOL expertise.
  • Participate in special projects assigned by Marketing Leadership.
