About The Position

We partner with CEOs, Boards, Private Equity, and Governments, leveraging deep functional and sector expertise, innovative AI-powered technology, and an investor mindset. The Deal Management team works on complex global transactions across various clients and industry sectors, comprising experienced industry professionals with operational backgrounds. We prepare and execute separation and integration plans, identify value enhancement opportunities, advise on risk mitigation, and manage the successful change of operations, functions, and people.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics and 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 3 years of related work experience.
  • Significant management consulting experience.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the confidence to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
  • Experience in business integrations, divestitures, and/or carve-outs with a demonstrated aptitude for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Experience leading and managing in complex business environments.
  • The ability to make detailed assessments of technology, operations, or manufacturing infrastructure.
  • The ability to synthesize approaches to complex integration/divestiture conflicts.
  • The ability to prioritize effectively on projects and the skills to adapt quickly to new challenges and concepts.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to develop long-lasting relationships both internally and externally.
  • The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
  • In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA is preferred.
  • A proven record of excellence in a mergers or acquisitions transactions role.
  • Experience gained within another large professional services organization.
  • Established networking skills in a relevant industry.
  • Knowledge of how to leverage firm-approved AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute operational focused projects across all sectors.
  • Support client service teams in developing and executing strategies for transactions.
  • Develop experience across a range of engagements, including pre-deal (e.g., operational and carve-out planning) and post-deal (e.g., integration planning, tracking).
  • Assist in aspects of pursuits, including presentations and client meetings.
  • Contribute to practice development initiatives.
  • Build strong working relationships with senior clients, influencing and advising key decision makers.
