About The Position

As the Director, Data Services & Enablement, you will lead the reliable, secure, and cost-effective operation of our enterprise data foundation—ensuring trusted, high-quality data is consistently available across the organization. You will own the operational health of the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), including ingestion, pipelines, orchestration, and platform services supporting analytics and data products. You will establish strong operational rhythms (monitoring, health checks, incident management, runbooks, and release coordination) and drive continuous improvement in reliability and MTTR. You will lead enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) strategy and operations, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adoption of master data domains such as customer, product, and location. You will operationalize data quality, governance, and compliance practices in partnership with IT, Security, and Compliance teams. You will run transparent intake, prioritization, and execution processes for data operations requests, ensuring predictable and well-communicated delivery. You will optimize platform performance and cost, manage vendor and partner SLAs, and drive automation to improve throughput and reduce manual effort. You will build, lead, and develop high-performing data operations, stewardship, and data quality teams focused on ownership and operational rigor.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Commutable distance to Tampa, FL.
  • 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data operations, or platform operations, with 5+ years leading and developing teams.
  • Proven experience running production-grade data environments with SLAs, incident and problem management, and operational controls.
  • Hands-on leadership experience with data quality practices, MDM operations, and data governance workflows.
  • Strong understanding of modern data platforms, ELT/ETL orchestration, and data observability and monitoring patterns.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with IT, Security, and Compliance to ensure data integrity, access controls, audit-ability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
