As Director, Data Analytics, you will define and lead Xplore’s analytics vision, with the focus on directly supporting the Customer Office through trusted, actionable, and timely insights. This role is critical to helping the business better understand customer behavior, improve customer experience, optimize sales and service performance, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work in close partnership with leaders and teams across Customer Office, Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Network, translating business priorities into scalable analytics capabilities and data products. You will also lead the continued modernization of Xplore’s analytics ecosystem by accelerating time-to-insight, consolidating fragmented reporting, establishing enterprise single sources of truth, and advancing the migration from legacy on-prem environments to a cloud-based enterprise data platform. We are seeking a leader with strong executive presence and a clear, confident point of view to lead our Customer Analytics Data function and influence decision-making at the highest levels of the organization. This leader will bring both strategic vision and hands-on expertise, translating complex data into actionable insights that drive business outcomes. This role also requires a highly collaborative leader who can bridge business strategy and technical execution, build strong stakeholder relationships, and foster a culture of accountability, partnership, and continuous improvement.

  • Experience leading a high-performing, multidisciplinary analytics organization spanning data engineering, analytics engineering, BI/visualization, and data governance.
  • Experience establishing and maturing a Data Center of Excellence (COE).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior analytics leader supporting the business, including field operations and installation management, customer care and contact centers, customer experience, and related business functions.
  • Partner closely with business leaders to understand strategic priorities, operational pain points, and growth opportunities, and translate them into impactful analytics roadmaps and deliverables.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships across the business to ensure analytics initiatives are aligned to enterprise priorities and deliver measurable business value.
  • Lead the development of insights, reporting, and data products that improve customer acquisition, retention, service effectiveness, revenue performance, and overall customer experience.
  • Act as a connector across departments, ensuring alignment on business definitions, KPIs, and data usage to support consistent decision-making.
  • Define and own Xplore’s Customer Office analytics strategy, roadmap, and operating model, aligned to business outcomes and enterprise OKRs.
  • Build and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary analytics organization spanning data engineering, analytics engineering, BI/visualization, and data governance.
  • Foster a culture of customer-centricity, collaboration, craftsmanship, reliability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Help establish and mature a Data Center of Excellence (COE) to promote best practices in analytics delivery, data ownership, governance, and product-oriented ways of working.
  • Partner closely with the broader Data & AI organization to identify, prioritize, and unlock AI and automation opportunities enabled by high-quality, well-governed data assets, helping accelerate intelligent decisioning and operational efficiency across the Customer Office.
  • Operate in a dual-alignment model, acting as a trusted analytics leader to the Chief Customer Officer (dotted reporting line) while partnering closely with the rest of the teams within the broader Data & AI function to ensure alignment with enterprise data strategy, platform standards, and AI-driven innovation.
  • Champion a stakeholder-first approach to analytics, ensuring teams engage early, communicate clearly, and deliver solutions that are practical, scalable, and business relevant.
  • Establish and expand enterprise-wide single sources of truth for key business metrics and reporting, reducing duplication, reconciliation effort, and fragmented reporting.
  • Implement a self-serve analytics layer through curated data products, semantic models, trusted marts, and strong documentation that enable business users to explore data confidently and independently.
  • Standardize KPI definitions, reporting logic, and data consumption patterns in partnership with business stakeholders and data owners.
  • Drive adoption of enterprise analytics tools and capabilities across the organization, with particular focus on empowering Customer Office stakeholders with accessible and actionable insights.
