The Director, Critical Care Services plays a pivotal leadership role in shaping and advancing Ontario's critical care system. Responsible for the effective delivery of Ontario Health programs related to Critical Care Services, the Director drives initiatives that optimize access, quality, and outcomes for patients across the province. Reporting to the Vice President, this role provides strategic leadership across multiple provincial programs and serves as a key advisor in advancing the clinical and operational direction of Ontario's critical care system. The Director identifies emerging trends, anticipates future healthcare needs, and champions innovative solutions that strengthen the delivery of critical care services in a complex and evolving environment. As a senior leader, the Director is accountable for operational excellence, system performance, and the development of strategic partnerships across Ontario Health, healthcare providers, government, and other key stakeholders. The role leads high-performing teams, fosters a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, and ensures the capacity, expertise, and resources are in place to achieve organizational and system-wide objectives.
