About The Position

SharkNinja is a global product design and technology company with a diversified portfolio of 5-star rated lifestyle solutions. As our brands scale globally, particularly across Latin America, social media is crucial for discovery, conversation, and demand creation. We are building a social creative engine to move at the speed of culture and are seeking creative leaders to shape it. The LATAM Social Creative Strategy Director will be the creative owner for SharkNinja brands on social across Latin America, with Mexico as the primary market and hands-on ownership of Brazil and Argentina. This role is embedded within the Global Social Creative team, ensuring each market's social presence is original, culturally relevant, and best-in-class. This is a hands-on creative leadership role for someone curious about Latin American culture, capable of ideating, writing, directing, and producing breakthrough content, from creator-led moments to large-scale productions, while partnering with various internal and external teams.

Requirements

  • 6–8+ years of experience in social-first creative, content, creator-led, or production environments — with a track record of breakthrough work across influencers, creators, and large-scale campaigns, ideally spanning multiple LATAM markets
  • A true hybrid: equally at home concepting a creator brief, directing an influencer shoot, and overseeing a full-scale production — across diverse LATAM markets and audiences
  • Deep cultural knowledge of Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina — or an insatiable curiosity to build it. You understand what works in different markets and why, from Mexico City to São Paulo to Buenos Aires, and you're always digging deeper
  • Comfortable directing others across time zones and cultures, but never afraid to make things yourself
  • Opinionated, curious, collaborative, and allergic to boring content — with the cultural sensitivity and intellectual hunger to adapt ideas for local relevance across Latin America's distinct markets

Responsibilities

  • Own Social-First Creative for SharkNinja Brands Across LATAM
  • Serve as the creative lead and tastemaker for SharkNinja brands (Shark and Ninja) on social across Latin America — with Mexico as the primary focus and hands-on responsibility for Brazil and Argentina — in tight collaboration with the Global Social Creative team and VP, Social Creative
  • Develop breakthrough social-first ideas that balance entertainment, product storytelling, and cultural relevance for both new and existing products across organic, paid, influencer/creator, and large-scale production content
  • Ensure creative work is designed to travel across markets and platforms — through sharing, remixing, and conversation — while respecting local cultural nuance — driven by genuine curiosity about what makes each Latin American audience distinct
  • Write, edit, and shape content across short-form video, stills, and emerging formats — adapting for local audiences and platforms across LATAM markets
  • Direct shoots virtually and in-person with internal creators, influencers, studios, and production partners across Latin America — from lo-fi creator content to large-scale, high-production campaigns that break through the feed
  • Collaborate closely with internal creators, Social Studios, and local market teams to translate ideas into scalable, market-relevant content outputs across LATAM
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Global Social Creative team, Brand, Social Strategy, Influencer, and Media partners to ensure LATAM social creative is aligned with global brand vision while being locally excellent
  • Lead creator and influencer creative across LATAM markets — developing breakthrough concepts, providing hands-on direction during production, and ensuring every collaboration delivers content that earns attention at scale
  • Act as the creative connective tissue between global strategy, local LATAM market needs, and execution
  • Push for work that is culturally fluent, platform-native, and unmistakably social-first across each LATAM market — staying curious about emerging voices, formats, and cultural moments in every country
  • Identify what's working, what's stale, and where each market's brand presence should experiment next across Latin America
  • Contribute to evolving creative playbooks and best practices across the social org, ensuring LATAM learnings feed back into global creative strategy
