About The Position

As the healthcare landscape continues to evolve with unprecedented scientific innovation, the American College of Cardiology (ACC) is seeking a Director of Corporate Partnerships to lead strategic engagement with pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, and related healthcare organizations. This individual will cultivate executive-level relationships with industry partners and identify opportunities to advance ACC’s mission through collaborative initiatives spanning clinician education, scientific exchange, implementation science, quality improvement, real-world evidence, market intelligence, patient engagement, digital innovation, and global cardiovascular health. The Director will possess a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and life sciences landscape, including drug development, commercialization, medical affairs, clinical research, market access, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), and evolving healthcare policy, and proactively advise ACC leadership on emerging therapeutic areas, market trends, and strategic partnership opportunities. Reporting to the Senior Director, Corporate Relations & Business Strategy, this individual will collaborate across ACC business units to develop innovative partnership strategies that create value for both ACC and industry while advancing cardiovascular science, improving patient outcomes, and supporting sustainable organizational growth.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and life sciences landscape, including drug development, commercialization, medical affairs, clinical research, market access, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), and evolving healthcare policy.

Responsibilities
