About The Position

Nscale is seeking a Director of Corporate Infrastructure to define and lead the company's global corporate infrastructure capability as it scales across offices, data-centre locations, cloud environments, and remote teams. This role will own the strategy, architecture, standards, and operational performance of the corporate infrastructure estate, including corporate networks, WAN connectivity, office infrastructure, corporate cloud services, monitoring, and observability. The goal is to establish a secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure model with clear boundaries between corporate infrastructure, cloud, production networks, and operational technology environments. The Director will collaborate with Information Security, Data Centre Operations, Cloud, Engineering, and external service providers to build the corporate infrastructure capability as Nscale grows.

Requirements

  • Significant experience leading enterprise infrastructure, corporate networks, or infrastructure platform strategy and operations.
  • Strong expertise across WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi, routing, switching, firewalls, remote access, and internet connectivity.
  • Experience designing secure, resilient infrastructure across multiple countries and locations.
  • Strong understanding of SD-WAN, segmentation, zero-trust access, infrastructure security, and operational resilience.
  • Understanding of data-centre networks, production network boundaries, and operational technology networks.
  • Experience managing monitoring, observability, configuration management, and infrastructure tooling.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder-management, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting a rapidly scaling international technology, cloud, infrastructure, or AI organization.
  • Experience with corporate infrastructure in large data-centre environments.
  • Experience integrating infrastructure following acquisitions.
  • Familiarity with SASE, zero-trust network access, identity-based access, or cloud connectivity.
  • Exposure to SOC 2, ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, or similar compliance frameworks.
  • Experience establishing a global infrastructure capability, operating model, and technical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver the global corporate infrastructure strategy, architecture, and roadmap.
  • Establish standards for resilience, segmentation, security, monitoring, observability, and lifecycle management.
  • Design infrastructure models to support new offices, acquisitions, data-centre locations, and international growth.
  • Maintain clear ownership boundaries across infrastructure environments and govern technical designs, exceptions, and significant changes.
  • Own the corporate WAN connecting offices, data-centre locations, cloud services, and remote users.
  • Define standards for internet connectivity, SD-WAN, private connectivity, routing, and resilience.
  • Own corporate LAN, Wi-Fi, guest networks, and office internet services with secure segmentation.
  • Manage carriers, managed-service providers, and network contracts.
  • Own corporate cloud infrastructure standards and operating models for internal technology services.
  • Own infrastructure monitoring, observability, configuration management, and diagnostic tooling.
  • Define availability, performance, capacity, and service-health metrics, and improve automation, alerting, reporting, and operational workflows.
  • Define secure remote-access and connectivity patterns for employees, contractors, and third parties.
  • Own or govern VPN, zero-trust network access, and network authentication services.
  • Partner with Information Security on segmentation, access control, logging, and infrastructure-security requirements.
  • Ensure firewalls, infrastructure configurations, and administrative access are securely governed.
  • Support security investigations, audits, and remediation.
  • Own infrastructure standards for offices, admin buildings, and corporate spaces within data-centre locations.
  • Provide technical oversight for office openings, moves, expansions, and fit-outs.
  • Work with Data Centre Operations to define support boundaries for corporate, production, and operational technology networks.
  • Ensure local infrastructure is resilient, secure, supportable, and aligned to global standards.
  • Build and lead the corporate infrastructure capability, providing technical direction to internal teams, regional support engineers, and delivery partners.
  • Manage infrastructure suppliers, service providers, and commercial relationships.
  • Develop investment plans, budgets, and business cases for infrastructure improvements.
  • Communicate infrastructure risks, priorities, and dependencies clearly to senior stakeholders.
