The Director, Corporate Development & Integration will act as a core member of Advanced Energy’s Corporate Development function, leading the planning, preparation, and execution of post-close integrations while supporting key phases of the M&A lifecycle, including due diligence, transaction execution, and cross-functional coordination through closing. Success in this role means performing as a pivotal driver of Advanced Energy’s growth strategy— owning integration and partnering closely with deal teams to enable effective evaluation, execution, and transition of transactions. You will build strong partnerships across our businesses and corporate functions, helping champion teams to plan, prioritize, and execute both pre- and post-close activities.

Requirements

  • Experience in M&A integration, transaction execution, or corporate development
  • Experience supporting due diligence and deal execution
  • Familiarity with integration tools and PMO frameworks
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management credential
  • 5-8+ years of experience in program management, transformation, or acquisition integration in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree

Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead the Integration Management Office to drive integration strategy, governance, and execution
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external advisors to define end-to-end integration strategies, timelines, and governance frameworks
  • Drive execution of integration plans, including milestone tracking, dependency management, risk mitigation, and value capture (e.g., synergies, operational efficiencies)
  • Lead cross-functional coordination across Operations, Finance, IT, Sales, HR, Legal, and Engineering
  • Provide ongoing governance and executive-level reporting on integration progress, risks, and outcomes
  • Support other transaction workstreams including due diligence efforts by coordinating cross-functional inputs and identifying integration risks and opportunities
  • Partner with Corporate Development, Legal, and external advisors to support transaction structuring and documentation coordination
  • Ensure continuity between diligence findings and integration execution plans
