About The Position

The Corporate Development Director leads enterprise-wide growth initiatives across Pleasant Valley’s facility management, construction, real estate, and property management divisions. This role drives strategic market expansion, strengthens high-value client and partner relationships, and identifies opportunities that advance the company’s long-term business objectives. The Director collaborates closely with executive and division leadership to shape growth strategy, evaluate new opportunities, and ensure successful execution across all business lines. This position is based at our office in Medina, Ohio.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in corporate development, strategic partnerships, business development, or a related strategic growth role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Intermediate knowledge of commercial construction, facility management, property management, and commercial real estate brokerage, with the ability to identify and pursue growth opportunities across multiple service lines.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends, evaluate business opportunities, develop growth strategies, and support executive-level decision-making.
  • Proven success building and maintaining executive-level client, partner, and stakeholder relationships while collaborating effectively across cross-functional leadership teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise-wide business development initiatives by identifying new market opportunities, developing long-term growth strategies, and advancing corporate and divisional objectives across all Pleasant Valley service lines.
  • Build and strengthen executive-level relationships with clients, strategic partners, public agencies, and community stakeholders to drive client retention, business expansion, and long-term organizational value.
  • Oversee the strategic opportunity pipeline, including client onboarding, RFPs, proposals, contract strategy, and CRM forecasting to ensure successful pursuit and execution of new business opportunities.
  • Partner with executive and division leadership to identify cross-selling opportunities, develop integrated client solutions, and ensure enterprise-wide alignment in the execution of corporate development priorities.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and market conditions to provide actionable insights that inform strategic planning, corporate positioning, and future growth initiatives.
