We're looking for a Director of Content Marketing who is, first and foremost, an exceptional writer — someone who brings a distinct voice, rigorous craft, and genuine conviction to everything Gong publishes. This is a builder's role. You'll write, edit, and set the standard for what great looks like — then partner with your team to reach it and amplify it consistently. You'll own the full content engine across the customer journey: thought leadership, customer stories, Gong Labs research, digital content, and the narrative frameworks that connect all of it to how buyers actually think and decide. We're looking for someone who thinks like a media builder, not a content scheduler. Someone who can define a clear editorial point of view, own the AI landscape, create formats worth coming back to, and understand how stories travel across channels. You care deeply about substance over surface — and you believe content done right is a genuine competitive differentiator, not a supporting function. You bring strong editorial judgment, a thoughtful perspective on where AI fits in a content operation, and a constant eye on where the best content in the industry is being made and why.
