About The Position

The Director, Content Capabilities leads the strategy, development, and advancement of content capabilities that enable the organization to scale modular content and AI-enabled production. This role is accountable for defining the future-state vision and roadmap for content design capabilities, tools, operating models, and ways of working across the portfolio. Through leadership of a team of Content Capability Associate Directors, the Director drives long-term transformation, including future Digital Production Platform (DPP) needs, while ensuring seamless support for current production and publishing operations. As new capabilities are developed and implemented, the team of Associate Directors remains accountable for their respective "run-the-business" utilization and performance, balancing operational excellence with capability evolution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, Digital, Communications, or a related field
  • 8+ years in content strategy / operations, creative or content design capability, or marketing transformation in a regulated environment
  • Demonstrated leadership of capability evolution and transformation delivery at scale (modular content, AI-enabled production)
  • Vision for an integrated content design ecosystem and the ability to drive innovation pilots to adoption
  • Strong leadership of a multi-AD team and the ability to set priorities across people, process, and capability
  • Fluency with content tooling (e.g., Workfront) and emerging AI content capabilities
  • Strong stakeholder management across Media & Content leadership, HUB, governance, and BUs
  • Ability to balance long-term transformation against protecting current production and publishing
  • Ability to work hybrid at least 3 days per week at our North Wales (Upper Gwynedd), Pennsylvania office

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for content design capability evolution, keeping pace with growing modular content and AI-enabled production demands
  • Lead and develop a team of Content Capability ADs, setting priorities across people, process, and capability
  • Provide dedicated capacity for content transformation delivery in Marketing Operations (e.g., Workfront and related capabilities)
  • Evolve the content development model and ways of working, integrating new tools, formats, and AI capabilities into production
  • Evaluate shifting content development demands and longer-term DPP needs within the Content Capability Evolution organization, without disrupting near-term production and publishing
  • Champion an integrated content design ecosystem and drive innovation pilots in new formats, tools, and AI capabilities
  • Support new brand launches with content capability playbooks and enablement
  • Oversee day-to-day operations across a suite of newly developed tools and systems as they are deployed, which may include Digital Asset Management (DAM) Platforms, Adobe Workfront, and other content-related toolsets
