At FNBO, our employees are the heart of our story—and we’re committed to their success! The Community Banking Relationship Manager (RM) will deliver advice and value for business customers. They will enable business customer growth and retention in line with credit and risk strategies. The Relationship Manager will “bring the bank to the customer” by connecting business customers with appropriate products to include but not limited to, commercial deposit accounts, payment products, treasury services, business planning, and credit accounts. This role involves managing portfolio relationships, matching the skills, knowledge, and experience of the RM to the needs of the customers in their geography framework. The RM will spend 30% of their time acquiring new business, 50% growing existing business, and 20% servicing existing business. They will be accountable for managing a portfolio of 50 relationships averaging $50M in loans and $50M in deposits. Volume-based expectations will be measured per the RM dashboard/scorecard. The role also includes building a portfolio of business customers by delivering advice and value, building centers of influence, guiding and facilitating solutions across all product specialties of the bank, participating as an active community member, identifying new business customer opportunities, overseeing portfolio quality, facilitating product partners and support teams, negotiating terms, qualifying and documenting opportunities, setting expectations with customers, and leveraging technology and tools consistently for data quality. The RM will also partner with others across the enterprise to optimize referral opportunities and meet customer needs, collaborate with partners to accelerate income and growth, and understand and comply with bank policy, laws, and regulations, including the bank's BSA/AML Program. This includes completing compliance training, adhering to internal procedures, reporting violations, and reporting suspicious activity. The role requires exhibiting professional behavior, promoting positive working relationships, and maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
