Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi (TAMU-CC) is seeking a Director of Communications to provide strategic leadership for university communications, media relations, executive communications, crisis communications, and reputation management. This role reports to the Assistant Vice President of Marketing and Communications and is responsible for developing and executing communications strategies that advance institutional priorities and strengthen the university’s reputation. The Director will serve as a senior communications advisor to university leadership, lead media relations and crisis communications, and oversee the development of compelling institutional content. This position also manages a team of communication professionals and collaborates across the university to ensure communications are timely, coordinated, accurate, and aligned with institutional priorities, brand standards, and university values. TAMU-CC is a dynamic university with approximately 11,000 students, designated as both a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) and Minority-Serving Institution (MSI), located on a beautiful 240-acre island campus on Corpus Christi Bay.
