Requirements

  • Has significant experience in internal communications, management communications, or organizational communications.
  • Demonstrates experience in people management or formal leadership of professionals.
  • Has experience in organization-wide roles and transformation environments.
  • Stands out for strong writing, synthesis, simplification, and advisory skills.
  • Demonstrates strong influence, prioritization, and decision-making abilities aligned with available resources, functional objectives, and business priorities.
  • Intermediate level of English and advanced level of French proficiency required, as the incumbent will be expected to draft, review, simplify, and coordinate written communications in English and French with unilingual English-speaking and French speaking internal and external partners on a periodic basis.

Responsibilities

  • Define the strategic direction for the internal communications function and oversee communications governance to ensure message consistency, quality standards, and the application of best practices.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to the leadership team and managers by supporting management communications, clarifying messages, and simplifying business priorities.
  • Lead strategic communications mandates, including communication strategies, positioning, key messages, and priority initiatives.
  • Drive internal communication plans and oversee the planning and delivery of internal events that foster employee engagement, alignment, and commitment.
  • Define and evolve governance, coordination, process optimization frameworks, and performance indicators to strengthen operational efficiency and execution discipline.
  • Guide coordination mechanisms, ensure structured monitoring of projects and initiatives, and support the development of progress reports for management committees.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts related to processes and ways of working in collaboration with stakeholders to support the performance of the department.
  • Oversee content governance, message consistency, and content optimization to contribute to marketing performance, customer experience, and brand consistency.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise team activities while ensuring employee development, engagement, quality deliverables, and the achievement of results.
