Director, Commercialization Data & AI Transformation

Bristol Myers Squibb•Princeton, NJ

About The Position

Bristol Myers Squibb is reimagining its Commercialization Data & AI delivery model and organization, building more internal capability and reducing reliance on vendor partners. The transformation includes migration to Databricks and a global hiring plan of approximately 40 roles, with expected annual savings of more than $10 million. The Director leads the Transformation Program Office and owns hiring plan execution, migration milestones, and vendor transition outcomes, driving work to completion rather than simply tracking it. The role partners closely with the Head of Commercialization Data & AI Delivery to coordinate dependencies and maintain accountability. It reports to the Executive Director, Commercialization Data & AI, and will build a small team as the organization scales. The position leads program execution across hiring, platform migration, vendor transitions, resourcing, and budget allocation. It assesses workstream viability, manages risks, advises senior leaders on priorities and sequencing, and coordinates across functional teams. The Director represents the transformation in executive and cross-functional leadership forums and uses independent judgment to resolve issues directly when appropriate.
