About The Position

The Director, Commercial Finance will join the commercial finance team of a global media and marketing agency network in New York. The role combines client-facing commercial work—including new business, contract terms, pricing, and vendor negotiations—with financial management responsibilities such as profitability, revenue recognition, month-end processes, and budgeting. The position is suited to an experienced commercial finance leader who can work strategically while also handling detailed financial matters. The team is growing, with promotion opportunities noted. The Director will manage a portfolio’s P&L, oversee client reporting and contractual compliance, support financial obligations across international client contracts, and manage and develop two direct reports. The position follows a hybrid schedule with three days per week onsite in New York City and reports to the Group Director. Base salary is up to $180,000, plus bonus.
