About The Position
Hut8 is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Commercial Development to spearhead our data center initiatives. This leadership role will focus on driving revenue growth, establishing key client relationships, and positioning Hut8 as a leader in the data center industry. This role will report to the Chief Executive Officer.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years in commercial roles within the data center or related technology sectors.
- Proven success in securing significant commercial agreements and driving revenue growth.
- Established relationships with key players in the hyperscale and enterprise technology world.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead successful teams.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field (MBA preferred).
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy for our data center services.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities with a focus on high-potential clients in the AI sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets through effective sales strategies and negotiations.
- Assemble and lead a high-performing commercial team to support growth objectives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform strategy.
