About The Position

This role is for a Director, Commercial and FP&A. Military Veterans and National Guard Reservists are encouraged to apply! The position is based in Houston, TX, with options for an office in the Energy Corridor or The Woodlands. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, with standard office hours. There is an expected travel requirement of 15%.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related field.
  • Progressive experience in financial planning & analysis or corporate finance
  • Experience in commercial strategy, business development, or corporate planning

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Strategic Management

Responsibilities

  • Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
  • Streamline business planning cycles to support a 30-day turnaround for strategic and financial planning
  • Challenge operational assumptions and ensure alignment with enterprise goals and financial targets
  • Own and maintain the long-term corporate financial model, including the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
  • Design and deliver monthly financial performance reporting, including transitioning from daily and weekly reports to a best-in-class monthly management package
  • Conduct working capital analysis, cash flow modeling, and investment return reviews to support capital efficiency
  • Oversee capital expenditure approval and reporting process, including asset tracking and ROI analysis
  • Lead the development and administration of strategic growth plans across assigned business units and sectors
  • Identify, assess, and structure new business development opportunities, including internal growth, partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisitions
  • Gather and analyze market, customer, and competitor data to support executive decision-making
  • Prepare strategic proposals, business cases, and board-ready presentations that communicate financial impact and risk analysis
  • Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with customers, partners, and external stakeholders
  • Support corporate planning and scenario analysis to assess the commercial viability of key initiatives
