Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in coding / revenue cycle operations
- 5+ years in leadership (multi-site or global teams)
- Expertise in inpatient, outpatient, and/or professional coding
- Strong knowledge of coding compliance and regulatory standards
- Certifications RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or equivalent required
Nice To Haves
- Experience managing offshore/global teams
- Multi-client or healthcare services environment experience
- Experience with coding transformation, automation, or integrations
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management
Responsibilities
- Lead global coding operations (onshore + offshore teams)
- Manage coding performance: accuracy, productivity, DNFB, turnaround times
- Drive denial reduction and revenue optimization initiatives tied to coding
- Oversee coding audits, quality assurance, and compliance programs
- Standardize coding policies, workflows, and governance across markets
- Partner with RCM, clinical, and compliance teams to improve documentation integrity
- Utilize reporting and analytics to identify trends and performance gaps
- Support technology, automation, and system optimization initiatives
