About The Position

Reporting to the VP, Clinical Quality, the Sr. Director of Clinical Operations is responsible for being the organization’s subject matter expert on implants. This position is an individual contributor with consultative responsibilities to influence implant-related activities by serving as a resource for dentists, practice staff, corporate staff and vendor partners. The Sr. Director of Clinical Operations serves as a technical expert and consultant to the Clinical Development team, the GPO/Procurement teams, and the Analytics teams to drive implant growth and adoption throughout the network. The Sr. Director of Clinical Operations manages and serves as the clinical leader and is responsible for growing the Roving Implant Specialist (ROIS) program within the network. In addition, the Sr. Director of Clinical Operations will lead Onboarding and Pathway to Impact programs that directly impact the performance of new dentists and enhance the skills of established dentists in the network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree a requirement
  • Deep knowledge and experience with dental implants and technology
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple complex projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Independent Self-Starter, highly motivated and a strong bias for action
  • Customer-centric relationship builder with ability to influence behaviors
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the technical and subject matter expert on all implant-related matters with the purpose of driving network implant growth and adoption through interaction with all levels of stakeholders, including practice staff, dentists, corporate staff and vendor partners.
  • Creates and deploys implant resources to serve all stakeholder groups for live and remote education, technical questions, and onsite assistance.
  • Works closely with the Clinical Development team and Outside Vendors to determine implant training needs and curriculum.
  • Determines appropriate performance reporting metrics and KPI’s for implant growth and associated activities in conjunction with the Analytics team.
  • Continually monitors implant growth and creates strategies to meet organizational goals and objectives.
  • Works closely with Field Operations team and Clinical Directors to seek opportunities and strategies to better serve practices in implant growth and education.
  • Leads and communicates expectations for ROIS program to Field Operations team, evaluates success and strategically aligns resources for the largest impact organizationally.
  • Leads and communicates expectations for Onboarding programs; cross functionally working with Recruiting and Field Operations to ensure all new dentists attend and implement learnings after the program to ensure standardized protocols within the network.
  • Leads and communicates expectations for Pathway to Impact programs; cross functionally working with Analytics team to identify appropriate dentists to attend, Field Operations to understand the benefits and Clinical Directors/Operations Manager to follow-up and support dentists post-course to ensure adoption of techniques within local practices.
