Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Seven to ten years’ experience in client services, preferably in the healthcare industry
  • Three to five years’ experience supervisory/managerial experience
  • Advanced proficiency in in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Strong organizational, analytical, project management, and communications skills.
  • Ability to respond to constantly changing circumstances and work under short deadlines.
  • Skilled in fostering teamwork and able to mentor/develop staff

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the Client Services department in their relations with brokers, reinsurers and Health Plans, Inc., ensuring that information on products, benefits, and the value and quality of Health Plans, Inc. is accurately and effectively portrayed.
  • Develops and implements an overall strategic service plan to manage account issues.
  • Maintains current and thorough knowledge of Health Plans, Inc. products, benefits, systems, health care industry, legislation etc. through training and staff meetings.
  • Maintains current and thorough knowledge of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care products, services and systems via periodic training and coordinated meetings.
  • Special projects as assigned by Vice President.
  • Ability to travel between work locations and to client locations is required
