About The Position

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Client Executive to join our Securities Finance Client Coverage team. This role is located in New York. In this role, you’ll make an impact by originating and growing hedge fund client relationships by structuring margin/collateral/financing solutions, leading senior prospect and diligence discussions, and driving cross-sell across BNY’s Prime & Borrow+ and broader Liquidity & Financing offerings. You will develop and execute coverage plans for top-tier hedge fund and alternative asset manager prospects, including targeting, pipeline management, and conversion to mandate. You will lead senior-level engagement (CIO/COO/CFO) across the prospect lifecycle—initial outreach, solutioning, diligence, and negotiation—to build durable, multi-product relationships. You will structure margin, collateral, and financing solutions spanning cash and derivatives to improve client liquidity, margin efficiency, and balance sheet outcomes. You will drive cross-sell of Prime & Borrow+ and the broader Liquidity & Financing suite, partnering with internal product and relationship teams to deliver integrated proposals. You will coordinate client due diligence, onboarding, and documentation (term sheets, credit/legal/risk reviews) to ensure timely, compliant execution. You will represent BNY at industry events and client roundtables, elevating thought leadership and generating senior-level engagement and referral opportunities. Success will be measured by the number and quality of new mandates originated; net revenue growth achieved through integrated Prime & Borrow+ and L&F cross‑sell solutions; demonstrable optimization outcomes—such as improvements in cost of funds, collateral efficiency, and balance sheet impact; onboarding speed and documentation completeness; and client satisfaction evidenced by the depth of senior relationships and engagement outcomes from events and roundtables.
