About The Position

Responsible for directing and administering the Child Enrichment Center. Recommends changes to improve programs and reviews ongoing activities. Directs staff and day-to-day daycare operations, ensures compliance with licensing and safety regulations, and leads planning, enhancement, and implementation of programs. The role also oversees staffing plans, collaborations, community representation, budgets, and resource management.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Seven years of relevant experience, including at least five years in a leadership role, with a high school diploma or GED.
• In lieu of a high school diploma or GED, nine years of experience, including at least five years in a leadership role.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.

Responsibilities

• Directs staff and the day-to-day operations of the daycare facility.
• Ensures the Center complies with all local, state, and federal licensing and safety regulations.
• Ensures departmental staffing plans are created based on volumes, patient acuity, anticipated workload, skill mix, and competency requirements.
• Collaborates with external vendors and internal departments on Center needs and activities.
• Represents the hospital and department in community activities.
• Prepares, justifies, and administers departmental and program budgets.
• Maximizes and manages allocated resources to achieve desired departmental and program results.
• Identifies and implements changes to improve child care.
• Provides leadership in planning, enhancing, and implementing programs.
• Reviews ongoing activities and recommends changes to improve programs.
• Serves as the administrator of the Center.
