About The Position

This role manages the Product organization's centralized chief of staff group, ensuring the effective delivery and coordination of strategic planning, strategic initiative delivery, performance and objective setting, budget planning, headcount management, and team/organization communications/activities for both the SVP and individual VPs. The job contribution involves designing and executing strategies that support the overarching philosophy of the organization, overseeing departmental programs, and often being hands-on with the design and implementation of applicable strategies. This role typically leads large teams, supervising supervisors as well as career-level staff, and is responsible for influencing decisions regarding hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
  • 10+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of strategic initiatives and business plans to align with organizational goals and drive business growth.
  • Manage workflows, optimize executive operations, ensure effective performance of human resources and budget functions, and maintain effective resource allocation.
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration within the product organization, AT&T Business, and the broader AT&T organization. Represent the district, provide a front door for requests not having a clear owner, and engage with internal and external stakeholders to support strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain communications within the product organization as well as regular cadence of reporting – product performance, P/L gap closure and roadmap to client organizations such as sales, operations and rev ops. Ensure creation of external facing communications materials for key industry presentations/events.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare comprehensive reports, and provide actionable insights to inform executive decision-making and ensure organizational success.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of direct reports supporting a shared service function, address and resolve issues or crises, and make informed decisions to maintain operational stability in a dynamic environment.
