About The Position

Comcast is establishing a Digital Infrastructure business focused on leveraging existing data centers, available power, network connectivity and other infrastructure assets to support AI computing and GPU cloud services. The Director, Business Operations will plan, coordinate and execute the deployment of AI infrastructure across Comcast facilities. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Business Operations & Infrastructure, the Director will drive cross-functional execution with engineering, facilities, IT platform, technology, finance and external partner organizations to support timely delivery of data-center capacity.

The Director will establish and manage integrated project plans, coordinate resources and dependencies, track milestones and financial commitments, and identify and resolve issues that could affect deployment schedules. The role serves as a central coordination point across workstreams, translating business objectives into executable plans and maintaining stakeholder accountability and communication. The position calls for program management and organizational strength, financial acumen, sound business judgment, a hands-on and entrepreneurial approach, and comfort working in a rapidly evolving business.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant experience in program management, business operations, infrastructure deployment, technology operations, consulting or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple organizations, external partners and interdependent workstreams.
• Strong project and program management capabilities, including schedule development, milestone tracking, risk management, resource coordination and executive reporting.
• Experience managing project budgets, capital expenditures and financial performance, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence and drive accountability across teams without direct reporting relationships.
• Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills, including presenting project status, risks and recommendations to senior executives.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with evolving priorities and organizational structures.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in data centers, artificial intelligence, telecommunications, cloud infrastructure, technology deployments or other capital-intensive environments.
• MBA, PMP certification or other relevant advanced credentials.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional planning and coordination of data-center infrastructure deployments and develop and execute integrated project plans with internal teams and external partners.
• Establish and maintain project schedules, milestones, deliverables, dependencies and accountability across infrastructure deployment workstreams.
• Coordinate site readiness activities, including power availability, cooling capacity, network connectivity, equipment procurement, infrastructure modifications and operational requirements.
• Track project progress, identify schedule or resource constraints, facilitate issue resolution, and escalate significant risks and decisions to senior leadership.
• Coordinate infrastructure deployments with business and customer requirements, aligning site readiness, equipment availability, installation schedules and commercial commitments.
• Oversee project budgets, capital expenditures and financial commitments, partnering with Finance and technical teams to monitor costs, evaluate changes and align spending with approved investment plans.
• Support business cases, site evaluations, project timelines and capital requirements for existing and potential infrastructure locations.
• Establish project governance, reporting and communication processes, including status reviews, executive updates, risk assessments and decision tracking.
• Coordinate with technology vendors, equipment suppliers, service providers and other partners to support timely delivery and resolve dependencies.
• Partner with technical and operations teams on business readiness, commissioning milestones, customer acceptance requirements and transition to ongoing operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve project execution, streamline processes and establish repeatable deployment practices as the business expands.
