About The Position

Vista Prairie Communities is hiring a Director, Business Development to lead strategic growth and revenue-generating initiatives for its assisted living and memory care organization. The role is accountable for identifying, evaluating, and executing acquisitions, developments, new lines of business, external partnerships, joint ventures, and other key business initiatives. It drives competitive market positioning and long-term sustainability. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, for 40 hours per week, and involves regular travel to community locations across the upper Midwest.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
7–10 years of progressive experience in business development, strategic planning, or corporate growth; ideally within senior living, healthcare, or real estate development.
Proven experience building financial models, analyzing pro formas, and working closely with corporate financial leadership.
Demonstrated success establishing joint ventures, cross-sector partnerships, or launching new business entities.
Exceptional presentation skills and a proven ability to influence executive leadership teams and external business partners.
Ability to travel regularly to community locations across the upper Midwest.

Nice To Haves

MBA or a related advanced degree.
