About The Position

Director of Business Development – Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IOM) at MPOWERHealth. The mission is to provide safer surgery for every patient by partnering with surgeons and hospitals nationwide to deliver high-quality interoperative neuromonitoring services. This role is for a high-performing individual to accelerate growth in the IOM division. The ideal candidate will be able to open doors, navigate complex hospital and facility environments, build lasting physician relationships, and drive strategic growth in competitive markets. Requirements

  • Proven success in healthcare business development, strategic sales, or physician relationship management
  • Ability to operate effectively in complex healthcare environments and navigate multiple stakeholders
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated with a competitive, growth-oriented mindset
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline and driving measurable results
  • Ability to balance strategy with execution in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Salesforce and CRM proficiency preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in IOM, medical devices, surgical services, spine, neuro, orthopedic, or hospital-based healthcare services
  • Existing relationships within hospital systems or surgical specialties

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with hospitals, health systems, surgery centers, and physician groups
  • Build strategic relationships with spine surgeons, neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, vascular surgeons, hospital executives, and OR leadership
  • Develop and execute territory growth strategies that expand market share and drive predictable case volume growth
  • Maintain a disciplined pipeline and consistently advance opportunities from prospecting through implementation
  • Assist with contract discussions and help navigate complex decision-making processes across clinical, operational, and administrative stakeholders
  • Confidently communicate the clinical and operational value of MPOWERHealth’s IOM solutions
  • Partner closely with operations and clinical teams to ensure successful onboarding and long-term account success
  • Understand competitive dynamics, reimbursement trends, and market pressures impacting healthcare providers
  • Position MPOWERHealth as a differentiated partner focused on service quality, responsiveness, and outcomes
  • Develop long-term partnerships with key decision-makers and influencers
  • Serve as a strategic resource to clients — not just a salesperson
  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and help convert competitive business
  • Represent MPOWERHealth with professionalism, urgency, and credibility in every interaction
