About The Position

As a Director, Business Application Management on the Regulatory Risk Initiatives team, you'll play a key leadership role in supporting and advancing our Risk Management applications, including Enterprise Governance Risk and Compliance (eGRC), Credit Exposure Application System (CEAS), Integrated Credit Analysis Program (iCap), CAFAT, and Risk Rating Engine (RRE). You'll oversee strategic projects and manage resources to deliver impactful solutions aligned with our business vision. Leveraging your expertise in Large Corporate and Commercial credit processes, you’ll provide critical subject matter guidance to a team of business analysts, ensuring our applications are robust and meet industry best practices. Your ability to look at process from end to end, combined with your experience with Enterprise Data Framework (EDF) will help you identify and implement opportunities for improvement. You excel at adapting your communication style to effectively engage audiences at all organizational levels, from working groups to executives. Your approach promotes alignment, fosters a collaborative culture, and supports continuous improvement, enabling you to drive innovation within your areas of responsibility. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 2-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in Large Corporate and Commercial credit processes, with a strong understanding of risk and regulatory requirements.
  • A degree in business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
