About The Position
Accountable for directing the full systems development lifecycle management of enterprise applications for support services and implementations, while adhering to enterprise data and process standards. Directs ongoing software, environment, and process support and services to ensure data quality and integrity. Monitors software functionality and its use throughout Sutter Health and its affiliates, with particular emphasis on developing best practices for distribution across affiliates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree.
- 12 years of recent relevant experience.
- Expert technical and business knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), quality assurance, and project management.
- Expert knowledge of specifying user requirements.
- Expert knowledge of healthcare operations and structure.
- Expert understanding of hospital inpatient and clinic outpatient operations.
- Verbal and writing skills to communicate effectively with executives, managers, subject matter experts, and other diverse groups.
Responsibilities

- Direct ongoing support and services for software, environments, and processes to ensure data quality and integrity.
- Monitor software functionality and use throughout Sutter Health and its affiliates.
- Develop and distribute evolving best practices across affiliates.
- Build and lead teams committed to carrying out initiatives, including in environments resistant to change.
- Set priorities and complete work in a timely manner.
- Analyze information, problems, situations, practices, and procedures to identify patterns and formulate logical, objective conclusions.
- Make presentations to persuade others to accept an opinion or action, or to provide information and instruction.
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with clients, IS team members, management, and executive personnel.
