Requirements

  • Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field of study plus ten (10) years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and eight (8) years of related experience.
  • Work Experience. Five (5) years of experience must include: Development of application n-tier architecture using design patterns; SOA principles; Web services; RESTful API; RDBMS/SQL; Java; J2EE; User Interface using JavaScript libraries; XML and JSON data formats; Spring frameworks; Java Persistence API; Unit testing and integration testing using JUnit; Responsive design; Version Control, including Git, CVS, and Subversion; Agile methodologies; Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tools, including IntelliJ or Eclipse; and Continuous integration and continuous deployments (CI/CD) using Jenkins.

  • Responsible for directing the activities of a software applications development function for software application enhancements and new products. Oversee the analysis, design, programming, debugging, and modification of computer programs for commercial or end user applications. Analyze and investigate applications engineering tasks and prepare design specifications, analysis, and recommendations. Responsibilities include achieving outcomes through leading technical team, including having accountability for the output and performance of the team(s), exercising significant influence on how the team members focus their time, conducting frequent communication to discuss expectations and provide feedback and coaching, having a high degree of participation in formal management responsibilities related to performance reviews and compensation decisions. Utilize business acumen and knowledge of the function or business unit structure to influence others, directly and indirectly, to achieve results. Interact with project managers, User Experience Research, marketing, sales, and users to define application requirements and necessary modifications.
