Requirements

  • Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in Acupuncture, sociology, demography, psychology, political science, social policy, economics, public policy, public administration, international development, gender studies and any other related fields.
  • 5 years of relevant work experience in Ethics, gender equality, adolescent development, policy development, program management, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, knowledge management, partnerships, resource mobilization, humanitarian programming and any other related fields.
  • Skills: Action Plan, Analysis, Child Protection, Partnerships, Policy Reform, Programming, Research, Social Inclusion, Technical Guidance, Track Record
  • English - Proficient/Fluent

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) or a local language
  • Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, Spanish, emergency response experience, participatory research, multisectoral initiatives, development partners experience, academic credentials in gender
  • Relevant experience at country level, particularly in development, fragile settings and humanitarian contexts.
