Overview The Director, AI Product is responsible for translating enterprise AI strategy into high-impact, production-ready AI products and capabilities. Reporting to the Senior Director of AI, this role owns the AI product portfolio—from discovery through scaled execution—ensuring AI initiatives are designed, delivered, and adopted as true business products with clear outcomes. This leader serves as the connective tissue between business sponsors, AI engineering teams, data/platform leaders, and the AI Center of Excellence (CoE). The role requires strong product leadership, systems thinking, and the ability to operate AI initiatives with discipline, speed, and measurable value.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in product management, digital platforms, data, or AI-adjacent roles.
  • Proven experience owning and delivering complex, cross-functional products from concept to scale.
  • Strong ability to partner with business leaders and translate strategy into execution.
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, data platforms, and product lifecycle management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing AI or advanced analytics products in an enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with portfolio-based funding, governance, and value measurement.
  • Experience operating within a federated or hub-and-spoke delivery mode

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage a portfolio of AI products and use cases aligned to enterprise priorities and strategic domains.
  • Translate business problems into well-defined AI product roadmaps with clear success metrics and value hypotheses.
  • Ensure AI initiatives progress through defined lifecycle stages (Discover → Prototype → Execute → Available).
  • Act as senior product owner for priority AI initiatives, partnering with business sponsors to define outcomes, KPIs, and adoption plans.
  • Lead cross-functional delivery teams (AI/ML, data, engineering, analytics, UX) to deliver production-ready AI capabilities.
  • Balance experimentation with execution—knowing when to pivot, scale, or stop initiatives based on evidence.
  • Partner closely with business leaders to ensure AI products solve real problems and drive measurable operational or financial impact.
  • Support business owners through handoff and scaling, enabling sustained ownership post-deployment.
  • Contribute to AI value storytelling and executive reporting in partnership with the Senior Director of AI.
  • Operate within the AI Center of Excellence hub-and-spoke model, ensuring AI products align to enterprise standards and governance.
  • Collaborate with Responsible AI, security, privacy, and architecture stakeholders to embed controls early and consistently.
  • Reinforce product discipline, documentation, and lifecycle management across the AI portfolio.
  • Lead and mentor AI Product Owners, Business Analysts, and cross-functional product contributors.
  • Establish repeatable product practices, templates, and playbooks for AI delivery at scale.
  • Contribute to the broader AI product and innovation culture across the enterprise.

  • This is a full-time, exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program.
  • Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidate's skills and experience.
