Working under the direction of the Sr. Director, Risk, the Director, ACH is responsible for the oversight of merchant accounts to identify, investigate and mitigate activity that represents financial risk to the Company based on Company guidelines. Manages the oversight of the ACH Origination Program and supports the ACH operational functions as needed. Monitor ACH activity for merchant portfolio(s) and examine for abnormalities, providing detailed analysis to management regarding portfolio performance. Ensuring all merchant activities for compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies and recommend appropriate actions. Expert in reviewing and analyzing financial, credit and publicly available information to support actions and decisions including assessing and evaluating business model risk and exposure by evaluating merchant industry type, volume, refunds, delivery time frames and return rates. SME for all aspects of ACH program. Managing existing and new policies as they relate to ACH and industry compliance. Conduct internal and external audit and assessments, addressing any recommendations or findings. Developed and performed ACH training programs companywide and specific role use. Monitoring the effectiveness and efficiency of the program, technology, tools, and processes, recommending as with limited oversight. Supporting specialized projects on an as-needed basis as directed by Company leadership. Monitored industry trends and develop strategies for growth for ACH. Business partners review and oversight for acceptance, requirements, and pricing. Support diverse tasks within established rules/limits, which may include escalations from other employees and departments. Other duties as assigned.
