About The Position
Direct Support Professionals - All Shifts Full time availablity for the 3pm-11pm or split shift only Do you want to make a meaningful impact in the lives of adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities? Are you looking to end your day feeling fulfilled and accomplished? If you answered YES, then consider joining our Devereux Team as a Direct Support Professional! Devereux Pocono Center provides programs and services for adults with developmental disabilities. As a Direct Support Professional at Devereux, you will provide safe, supportive care to residents at the Pocono Center, ensuring their physical, emotional, and personal needs are met. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, supporting daily routines and community outings, attending training sessions, and completing special assignments as directed by the coordinator.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
- One (1) year preferred of human service experience working with children, adolescents, or adults preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to complete required new hire orientation class.
- Possess a valid license.
- Ability to meet 100% mastery of Safe and Positive Approaches.

Responsibilities
- Provide safe, supportive care to residents at the Pocono Center, ensuring their physical, emotional, and personal needs are met.
- Assisting with hygiene.
- Supporting daily routines and community outings.
- Attending training sessions.
- Completing special assignments as directed by the coordinator.
Benefits
- Competitive Pay: $18.00–$20.52/hr based on experience, education, and shift
